Year in Review

Alright, let's look at what Thomas Productions / directorG.com has achieved in 2010:
  1. Movie Projects Completed This Year: Everyone and Their Mother, The Nightmare (Director's Cut), Alex and Mike's Alaskan Cruise, and Web Videos for One Shot One Kill Trading ()
  2. Submitted Journey of the Mind to two festivals: SF Shorts Fest, and Big Bear ()
  3. Submitted The Nightmare to one festival: Cinequest SJ ()
  4. Submitted Everyone and Their Mother to CurrentTV in time for Mothers Day ()
  5. On YouTube, Scenes from Being John Malkovich surpassed 9,500 views, and The Dog of Pompeii (Pt. 1) surpassed 7,000 ()
  6. Eight entries for GPicturama, which started using Photobucket and bigger thumbnails ()
  7. Purchased new HD Video Camera, often in use at PenTV ()
  8. Both Journey of the Mind and The Nightmare achieved IMDb status ()
  9. More IMDb Connections through our Names Database ()
  10. Transferred Website Server to FatCow ()
  11. Movie Ratings continually updated, and got slight makeover ()
  12. Live Oscar Predictions Competition with Google! ()

A lot was accomplished, but there still is much to be done:

  1. Finish reediting of Brave New World to submit to YouTube ()
  2. Create new[er] logo for Thomas Productions that maintains original '97 font look, incorporating 3D motion ()
  3. Create HD movie in 16:9 ()
  4. Create Hitchcock Road, perhaps as the HD 16:9 project ()
  5. New website needs full redesigning, currently in the works ()
  6. Complete Demo Reel for VFX ()

There might be even more to do on next year's list, but those will certainly take part in it. Gotta get a new hard drive to keep up with it... Oh yeah, need more time, too! Bring it on, babe, and happy new year!
