In my very-recent cleanup of old CDs, I came upon some old digital clips from during my high school years! They were of the 4th and 5th Monty Awards, respectively, at Carlmont. They shall become included here soon!

Line Flubs

My, oh, my. First, Brett Ratner "accidentally" delivers a homophobic slur, then receives the consequential public outrage, and ultimately resigns as producer of next year's Academy Awards within 48 hours. The next day, Eddie Murphy, who had agreed to host the event, also dropped out. Within the next day, Brian Grazer stepped aboard to produce! Don't know who the new host would be (possibles include Billy Crystal, Ricky Gervais, Piers Morgan, or even The Muppets!), but they better pick soon...

Speaking of line flubs, did you hear Rick Perry's own last night?

N'Ebert Pas?

What a shame. It looks like unless they're able to find a new funder, Ebert Presents At the Movies will go off the air after December. Roger and his wife, Chaz, have been funding it themselves all this year. You can read Ebert's direct thoughts in the article, The Chimes at Midnight.

New Z, Part II

The layout of Garett's Movie Ratings continues its slow update. Now, the Yearly Top 10 have absorbed the layout of Ratings pages. The page for 2011 itself was also created in the process. Check the new designs out!
